Blessed with decade’s long experience in the tourism & hotel trade in several countries, Mr.Jagath De Silva couldn’t resist the ambition to develop his own venture in the same industry. Accordingly, Jagath Tours & Travels was founded by Mr. Jagath in the year 2005 located in vicinity of the main international airport in Sri Lanka. Initially, his capital stock mainly comprised of own experience and exposure constantly fueled by unrelenting desire to “embrace innovations” within somewhat stationary business practices prevailing in the industry dominated by a handful of corporate giants. These “innovations” did not come easy; it had to be crafted within the environs tightly regulated by industry practices, legal framework and ethical guidelines
